It is best to store your coffee in an airtight, opaque container, ideally made of ceramic or stainless steel. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from heat sources, moisture, and direct sunlight. The refrigerator or freezer is not suitable for storage, as coffee can absorb moisture and odors there.
Grind the coffee only right before brewing. This helps preserve the aroma and taste as well as possible. Pre-ground coffee loses its freshness more quickly than whole beans.
